The "Ironrite" chair by designer Herman H. Sperlich was produced in Detroit, USA by the Ironrite Ironer Co. for their own workforce in 1938. One of the first models is in the permanent collection of the MoMA.

This model with the original paint is made of metal and has the typical adaptable backrest.
